Persian penetration of Yemen The road to Mecca starts from Sanaa!!
Makkah Al-Mukarramah has always been the great prize that the Persian Iranians aspire to, throughout their history full of conspiracies and grudges, their ambitions did not stop within their geographical borders. Rather, the Arabian island was the other bank through which Iranians dreamed of crossing into the world. In their view, Makkah was nothing but a symbol of Arab supremacy, sovereignty, and victory, that supremacy tasted Persians the defeat bitterness in many battles, who dreamed of uprooting and destroying it.
History does not lie; stories are not erased. So, that’s life. Since Shah Ismail Safavid’s agreement with the Portuguese in 1514 AD to occupy the city of Jeddah, starting from there to destroy Makkah Al-Mukarramah and other holy places, till today, the obsession of occupying or destroying Makkah is an ongoing Iranian policy. Do we remember the bloody events committed by the Iranians during the Hajj season of 1987? In that year, the Iranians turned into a machine of killing and intimidation, in an attempt to occupy and kidnap the Noble Sanctuary, perhaps destroy the Kaaba as the Qarmatians did before, all of which ultimately aim to uproot Mecca from the Arabs memory; Either by controlling it and turning it into a Persian temple, or terminating its existence, thereby ending the Arabs existence.
Add to this, the Mu’aysim bombings near Mina, that caused the deaths and injuries among innocent pilgrims who surrendered themselves to God, but they were not spared from Iran’s cross-border crimes, are all incidents confirming systematic criminal intentions directed at the holiest place of Muslims, “Makkah Al-Mukarramah”.
Tehran believed that the road to Mecca starts from Sana’a, therefore it harnessed its energies, money, and everything it possessed for this goal. This is not a new talk; it has continued since the arrival of Persian armies in Yemen before Islam in 516 A.D. So, Iran’s strategic planning starts from Sana ‘a to encircle the Arabian island from its southern private, strangling it then assassinating it forever.
The Iranians believe that Yemen is a soft region, that it is easy to start from it towards Saudi Arabia, taking advantage of some components that – unfortunately – responded to Khomeini’s extremist ideology. Despite the sharp disagreement between Iran and Yemen during the eighties due to Sana’a’s standing with Iraq and sending Yemeni recruits to fight against it, Tehran turned a blind eye to this for malicious purposes. In 1990 AD, Tehran opened communication channels with the Yemeni government, released Yemeni soldiers who had been captured in the pro-Iraq battles. All of this was considered an Iranian act to infiltrate Yemen, build relations with the Sana’a government and benefit from them later, thus Tehran has begun its first penetration steps of Yemen, then reached Saada, where it formed militias and terrorist gangs, within years, these militias and terrorist gangs became its terrorist arm to harm and fight Saudi Arabia.
The secret Iranian intervention in Yemen began early, even before the public relations in 1990, when Tehran opened its extremist Shiite schools to receive hundreds of Yemeni students who later turned into spearheads in the “Iranian-Houthi” project, including Houthis leaders and founders of that organization.
The Iranians used the Shiite sentiment to be their entrance to the Zaidi components in Yemen, although the Zaidi component remained throughout its history far from joining the Safavid Shiism, the Iranian money was able to Adapt some leaders, grabbing and turning part of them into an extremist and terrorist militia under the name of the Houthis.
This was only supporter for the Iranian regional project that extends from Iraq to Syria and Lebanon, down to Yemen, aspiring to reclaim “Khosra Anu Shirwan” throne, which was demolished by the Arab knights on Persians heads, who set out from Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, the rest of the Arabian island’s cities and villages, carrying Guiding Light of Muhammed Message, putting out the Persian fire.
